Arnis Training

We are excited to invite you to an Arnis training session for members of the Triskelions of Northern California, in conjunction with the recruitment of future Triskelions, and  part of the Triskelions Development and Acceptance (TDAP) process. This event will take place on Saturday, April 12, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont.

Arnis, also known as Eskrima or Kali, is a traditional Filipino martial art that emphasizes weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives, and other bladed instruments. It also includes hand-to-hand combat techniques, grappling, and disarming methods. Arnis is not only a means of self-defense but also a way to preserve Filipino culture and heritage.

We have chosen Arnis because we are proud members of a Filipino fraternity, and this martial art is a significant part of our cultural heritage. Brod Woody will introduce the rudiments of the art, sharing his expertise and passion for Arnis.
