56th Anniversary Celebration of Tau Gamma Phi: A Night to Remember

The 56th anniversary of Tau Gamma Phi was celebrated in grand fashion, bringing together Triskelions and their families for a memorable event. Hosted by the Triskelions of Northern California and Central California Regional Grand Council, the gathering was well attended, with members coming from various parts of the state, including Roseville and Salinas, CA. Notably, the farthest attendee, Bro Dod Peralta, traveled all the way from the Philippines, fresh from a stop in Virginia to participate in the Western Overseas Cluster TGP celebration. The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter, joy, and camaraderie as brothers and sisters of Tau Gamma Phi reminisced about past fraternity celebrations. It was a night dedicated purely to fun, with no formal discussions taking place—just an ongoing celebration that stretched into the early hours of the morning. A key highlight of the event was the election for the Northern California Regional Grand Council, where Brother Carlos JR Palanca was elected as the new Grand Triskelion, with Brother Edxel serving as his Deputy. The presence of the Grand Triskelion (GT) Nathan Nario and Deputy Grand Triskelion (DGT) Jhay Retiro of Central California added further prestige to the occasion. The gathering was graciously hosted by Bro Dodo Agcaoili and his wife, Dr. Menchu Agcaoili, whose efforts contributed greatly to the event’s success. Special thanks also go to Brother Daniel Toots Mijares, who not only attended the celebration but led the group in singing the Triskelion Hymn, which he co-composed with Ben Beltran and Jojo Quimpo. As the night came to a close, the focus shifted to the future, with excitement building for next year’s big anniversary celebration, planned to take place in San Jose, CA. With such an incredible night behind them, the Triskelions are looking forward to making the next event even more spectacular. More celebrations are on the horizon, and the bond of brotherhood continues to grow stronger within Tau Gamma Phi. Here's to many more years of unity and brotherhood!
